Tsombie (NEW: Release 1.1.2!)

Tsombie is a very tactical arcade game running on Linux. It has just a simple graphical appearance but is easily extendable due to its simple and clean programming. And it is multiplayer enabled and highly optimized for low bandwidth and a large number of simultaneous players.

The game programming, graphics, sound effects and levels have all been created by Mathias Kettner. Everything is available under the GPL.

The Game

It was recently at night in your grandmother's garden. Something really strange happened. But your couriosity was stronger than your fear.
Strange bugs were on the loose. Were they really that big or have you shrunk to be that small?
No problem anyway. You knew quite well where your late grand dad had kept his old hunting rifles. And it made such a nice sound each time one of those folk burst.
When the spiders appeared it was not exactly that funny. Those nasty beasts spat at you some foul slime.
Those skeletons didn't improve the whole situation either. They just about ignored your well aimed rifle shoots. No wonder - in view of their being dead already.
They did honour - however - some more explosive thingies that you've found among your late grandads legacy.
Now that was fun! Time to get your best friend to share it with!
